An 80 mm wide 2.5 m long flow and sediment transport channel with a starter kit of models and instruments. It provides students with the ability to study the varying effects of sediment transport, bedform dynamics and fluid flow around weirs and other objects in an open channel.
An extra sluice gate, dye and accessories to enable further experimentation (for example the study of gravity waves and ice melt) for use with FC80 Flow & Sediment Channel.
A dual-colour, gravity-fed dye injector to enable the visualisation of flow lines around obstacles in the channel.
An ancillary to feed dry sediment directly into the FC80 channel flow from above.
