We now require a Mechanical Fitter who will primarily be responsible for building mechanical educational products to a high standard within set time frames using build information files, or as directed by the Production Manager.

- Location: Long Eaton, Nottingham
- Department: Assembly
- Reporting to: Production Manager
- Hours: 37 hours per week, i.e. 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday (1/2 hour for lunch), 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Friday (no lunch break)
- Rate of pay: Competitive
- Contract: Full-time, permanent
Requirements
Essential
- Relevant previous mechanical fitting experience
- Apprenticeship/time served or relevant qualifications (i.e. C&G, BTEC or Equivalent)
- Ability to interpret and build to CAD generated assembly drawings
- Ability to work methodically and to high standards
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to meet deadlines and work flexibly
Desirable
- Experience of producing 'one-offs' and small batch work
- Capable of working within ISO9001 procedures
- Experience of building educational equipment advantageous
- Machine Shop Experience
- Electrical Experience
