To be part of the engineering team supporting the production, buying and service departments, answering queries and updating product information. To provide practical ‘hands on’ assistance on special projects and prototypes.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Design and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
- Maintain engineering records, drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Provide technical support to production, purchasing, sales and service teams.
- Support product modifications, design changes and engineering documentation control.
- Assist with prototype build, testing and fault finding.
- Support factory build and test activities.
- Ensure products comply with relevant standards and directives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, quality and cost reduction initiatives.
