Description

Strategic plans within the country have identified a requirement for a high calibre Export Sales Manager. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director you will be a key member of a team focused on increasing company presence and market share in overseas territories. Key to your success will be appointing agents, building relationships, planning, forecasting and meeting budgets and producing monthly reports. 

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining positive and effective relationships with agents, customers and end-users. 
  • Produce, manage and deliver territory business plans including forecasting and achieving sales targets. 
  • Planning and visiting agents/territories/customers within the annual travel programme. 
  • Providing marketing input to all relevant sales promotional literature to include competitor activity. 
  • Responding to agent, customer and end-user enquiries.
  • Attending trade shows/exhibitions demonstrating equipment when required. 

Requirements

  • Proven track record in a similar hi-tech, high quality export market
  • Confident, with high levels of negotiating and closing skills
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • An effective communicator that can provide professional solutions to customers and agents
  • Confident self-starter with a track record in building and maintaining relationships with agents and customer
  • Holding an engineering qualification and sales experience within the educational/engineering environment would be beneficial, but not essential

Campaign Planning

  • Design and implementation of Marketing campaigns using a variety of traditional and modern techniques
  • Tracking effectiveness and ROI of individual campaigns
  • Comfortable with data analysis and analytical software such as Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of tracking end-to-end data
  • Able to disseminate data into actionable insight to report to Senior Management Team

Requirements

Essential:

  • You will have experience in a similar, hi-tech, high quality environment that supports a global market.
  • Customer focused you will be expected to have experience in supporting a global demand dealing with overseas agents and customers.
  • Computer literate you should be experienced in generating reports, database upkeep, web based promotion and presentations.
  • Previous experience in planning and managing trade shows both in the UK and overseas.
  • Ideally CIM qualified to level 6 or equivalent.

Requirements

You will be required to:

  • Manufacture items using the production information/drawings provided.
  • Work to instructions/information given by supervisor.
  • Work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
  • Keep machines, equipment and working area in clean and good working condition.
  • Meet the quality standard required (IS09001).
  • Assist with maintenance where necessary.
  • Operate the CNC Punch after suitable training.
  • Operate the Promecam/box folder machine after suitable training.
  • Assist in the operation of conventional/CNC machines as required after suitable training.
  • Aid in the meeting of delivery deadlines where practical.

Description

A vacancy has arisen within the assembly department for a Mechanical Assembly Supervisor. This role will lead the mechanical assembly department in order to meet the production schedule delivery and quality standards. The successful Supervisor will be responsible for the following:

  • To supervise the mechanical assembly department ensuring due date deliveries are achieved.
  • To ensure the quality standards are met on all products, processes and procedures. 
  • To be the primary point of contact for all mechanical assembly production problems and assembly enquiries.
  • To ensure all the members of the team are aware of completion dates for products, relevant departmental procedures, build quality standards, safe working practice and general housekeeping.
  • To communicate effectively with your team, line manager, test, paint shop, electrical assembly, buying and stores to ensure deliveries and standards are achieved.
  • To offer temporary cover for the electrical assembly supervisor when they are away from the company.  
  • To work to ISO9001 procedures.
  • To maintain safe and tidy work area.

Requirements

Essential

  • Proven track record with relevant experience as a supervisor
  • Ability to use MRP/Excel
  • Good communication/people skills
  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Electrical knowledge/experience

  • To design and develop new products providing suitable production information for their manufacture and upkeep, and complete the projects within the dates and costs specified
  • To estimate, design, modify and build products in line with the company’s ‘Special Projects’ Procedure maintaining specification and estimated costs
  • To ensure Special Project requests are completed and returned within the specified time
  • To provide technical information and liaison to help achieve the planned production schedule
  • To provide technical information to assist in the generation of technical manuals

Requirements

Essential:

  • HND or above in an electrical engineering or similar discipline
  • Use CAD packages to create schematics and product assembly drawings and artworks
  • Knowledge of CE marking including EMC and LVD
  • Experience of using Microsoft office
  • Knowledge of sensors and instrumentation
  • Knowledge of control panel layout and design
  • All round general knowledge of electrical/electronic disciplines
  • Be able to work alone as well as part of a small team

Desirable:

  • Use of Orcad, FastCAD, Boardmaker, Pulsonix, Corel Draw, Microsoft AXAPTA/Dynamix AX
  • Knowledge of the following:
    • Motors, electrical machines and AC/DC variable speed motor drives and control gear
    • Data acquisition systems
    • Analogue/digital electronics
    • Control engineering and industrial controls

  • CNC Turning experience within a similar hi tech environment
  • Conventional Turning experience.
  • A flexible and positive attitude

  • Mazatrol/driven tooling programming/operating experience.
