AIR COMPRESSOR AND RECEIVER

The AF27a Compressor is made of two parts:

• The Compressor
• The Receiver

The Compressor is an electric air pump that sucks air in through a filter and compresses it. It forces the compressed air into a receiver that stores the compressed air and dampens any ‘pulses’ in the air flow from the compressor. The receiver includes a pressure gauge, a relief valve and two air filters - a ‘pre’ filter and and ‘after’ filter. The pressure gauge may have a ‘U’ shape trap if it
has a bottom connection.
