Description

BALANCE ANGLE FEEDBACK UNIT

The Balance Angle Feedback Unit is an ancillary for use with TecQuipment’s Three-Component Balance and VDAS® together to measure and record the angular position of models mounted on the balance in TecQuipment's subsonic wind tunnels. It is supplied as standard with AF1450T and AF1600T (included with AF1450S and AF1600S respectively). It is an optional ancillary to AF1300T itself an optional ancillary to the AF1300 wind tunnel. AFA4 mounts on the Three-Component Balance attached to the wind tunnel. It transmits the rotational angle of the model to TecQuipment’s Versatile Data Acquisition System VDAS®, not included with AF1300. The angle of the model can be logged on a suitable computer (not included) along with other captured experimental data.

Note: the Angle Feedback Unit can only be used with the Three-Component Balance and VDAS®. The unit is supplied with an input board for VDAS®.
