An integrated digital image correlation system for measuring full-field displacements and strains over a material’s surface in three dimensions.
DefleX-3D is ideal for material science, structural engineering and general mechanical engineering courses.

STRAIN GAUGE KIT
A kit comprising a PVC carrying case containing a selection of resistance strain gauges together with all the necessary accessories and consumable materials associated with their application.

THIN CYLINDER

A bench mounting apparatus to allow the stresses and strains of a pressurised thin walled cylinder to be investigated and analysed.

DIAPHRAGM

A self-contained bench mounting experimental apparatus to enable students to investigate the effect of pressure on the surface profile of a diaphragm and also the distribution of circumferential and radial strains.

STRAIN GAUGE TRAINER

Bench mounted bending system to test tension, torsion and bending to illustrate how resistance strain gauges work and methods of measuring strains in different structures. Can be used to demonstrate Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio.

THICK CYLINDER

A self-contained bench mounting experimental apparatus to enable students to investigate the distribution of radial and hoop stresses and strains throughout the wall of a thick cylinder and to compare the practical results with those predicted by theory.
